Belvedere

I am not really into vodka, mostly as a mixer.

I had a hot pepper vodka once that knocked me on my can - that was some good (spicy) stuff.

Belvadere is awesome.. also if any of you get the chance, give Hanger One a try, especially if you're working with drinks requiring flavored vodkas.. no BS.. true kickass vodkas with flavor, not the sugary nightmare some of the cheap ones are..

For the budget vodka, absolutely go with Fris (pronounced freeze.. has a doodad over the i on the bottle).. grocery store has it for $21 for a half gallon.. would give kettle or absolute a run for it's money, especially out of the freezer..

Oh and if you like pepper vodkas, you should give Inferno Vodka a try.. it has a hydroponically grown pepper actually in the bottle.. starts out red, the longer you let it sit (months to years) it will gradually turn white.. infusing even more of the pepper in the bottle.. it's f'ing amazing.. tastes like you took a shot of really good vodka, and took a bite of pepper.. :D

In Las Vegas there is a restaurant called "Red Square". It is located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel.

Its is a very fine Russian restaurant and in there they have 150 types of Martinis. The bar is very cool and I mean cool as on the surface of the bar it is all ice to keep your martini glass nice and cool.

My point is that there is a Martini there called a "Natasha Peach Martini"
It is the most incredible one Ive ever had. Very unique.

It is made with Zone Peach Vodka. Zone is the company that makes the vodka but unfortunately they went out of business.

I got the recipe for the Natasha Peach Martini only to find that the special taste comes from the Zone Peach Vodka.

I went on a search and found 13 bottles of the Zone Vodka and bought every one I could find.

Try in your local stores to see if they have it. If they do get it and make this Martini.

1/3 Cup of Zone Peach Vodka
1/3 Cup of Peach Schnapps
1/3 Cup of Absolute Mandrin
1/8 Cup Orange Juice
1/4 Cup Cranberry Juice
1/8 Cup Margarita Mix

Put all ingredients in a martini shaker with ice cubes and Shake.

Should make 2 or 3 martinis. Enjoy.

You can make this with your favorite peach vodka but its really not the exact one without Zone Peach Vodka. It makes a difference.

Chopin, like that other Polack posting. Wait a second, Chris, is that MY Chopin you're drinking?

Grey Goose is good and Skyy is tolerable enough (especially since I get it for free).

Now wait just a cotton' pickin' minute here, sis. You're bitchin' about me drinking your vodka, but I'm the one illegally transporting liquor across state lines to get it up to you--for Free? LOL Seriously, it's still here for you guys... I'll replenish what I steal from your isle in my liquor cabinet!

And just for the record, I was NOT drinking your vodka last night when my daughter made us lemon drops (in addition to Jack & Coke). And she did NOT run across the street and steal lemons from our neighbor's tree to make them. I took this photo with my phone to prove to you that none of that happened and that there is still plenty left of YOUR precious vodka. I told her to use some other vodka (do you believe me? lol)

This is my ONLY vodka. Or vodka replacement. Pack a gallon jug with a spigot in it with sliced up lemons, limes, and ice, pour a 750 in it, and put it in the freezer overnight. Then go to a rugby match and start serving shots. Think we always call it Yucca.
