The idea for this site came up about a week ago. In celebration of Jason's birthday I thought it would be a cool thing to spring a new website on him to run LOL So I set it up and got the groundwork going.

Now I find out through michaels that last October the 3 of us were talking about it whilst drunk in Vegas. Do I recall that, of course not.

But here it is... everyone I know (that matters LOL) drinks Jack Daniels, so it was a no-brainer to start another social networking site just for JD drinkers. I couldn't find any good ones out there specific to JD.

I'm 39, live in San Diego, am happily married with two beautiful girls. I'm into pickup trucks so be sure to check out www.truckblog.com and www.fordtruckspace.com (the latter should look eerily similar to this site!) As you just read above this site was likely due to the drunken hijinx of several members of our crew in Las Vegas (not the first or last time).

I like Jack, no - I LOVE JACK, so naturally I would be interested in a website that connects drinkers of this glorious nectar.

I am a 27 year old wild and crazy guy from Long Island, NY who is engaged to the most wonderful woman - Samantha. I actually met Sam through Chris in a way - as he created the best Ford truck site on the internet in a former life.

As you may have surmised, I am also into pickup trucks and I am a contributing writer and photographer for www.truckblog.com. Being around Chris has it's benefits and drawbacks - he has cost me a small fortune in camera equipment over the years. However, the benefits are still coming for me.

Back in August I decided to combine several hobbies; writing, photography and hockey. What resulted was one of the busiest New York Islanders hockey blogs around - www.islesblogger.com

In early September, my website was one of twelve selected by the NY Islanders to participate in their Blog Box project. The Blog Box receives press passes for home games, unheralded access to players, coaches and other people within the organization. It has been an absolute blast so far - and brought being a season ticket holder to a new high (not everyone has season tickets however).

That's pretty much me in a nutshell.

uh oh yes ... uh I've known Jack for many years and a girl friend of mine in Tenn took me through the Jack factory and I can still smell that beautiful aroma in the Keg room where its aged in oak barrels.

I love trucks and currently own 3 Ford F150's. Just cant get enough of them.

Yeah Im all over the sites. Its all Chris's fault.

I fancy myself as a pretty good cook and I use many flavors in my cooking from alcohol. Wine reductions, Tequila and lime, Vermouth, Brandy, Contreau, Rums, Cognac, Vodka, Tia Maria, Cassis, Banana Liqure, Creme De Cocao, White Wines, and of course Jack.

Funny thing however. You would think Jack would render a very stong taste when cooked but it doesnt at all. In fact most of that great tast is lost in the cooking.

For instance I make Bourbon Sweet Potatos during thanksgiving and Jim Beam leaves more flavor when used in that dish than Jack. Same in Bar B Que meat sauces.

But lets face it Jack is made to drink not cook.

Hi! My name is Keri and Jack is a good friend of mine. I found this site while trying to find out what font is used on the Gentleman Jack label. This place...what a great idea!

I am a huge Clint Bowyer and Jack Daniels Racing fan too. I'm a regular on the fan forum, and I tend to post Jack related recipes occasionally.

For my day job, I retouch images for magazines, work in an in-house prepress department. Been breaking in to photography too. Doing product shots for some of the magazines. Learning as I go. Felt the need to do a Jack Daniel's still life one day... I'll have to post the shot here eventually.

Let's see... what else? Welding student, hot rod and truck nut, aspiring pinstriper...
